  • Connective Tissue-

  • Deep massage that works with the layer of tissue between the skin and muscle. Application is applied with great sensitivity and mindfulness by the practitioner. By releasing restrictions to this area of the body, greater flexibility and increased motion is established. Connective Tissue massage provides muscle maintenance that flushes out toxins and breaks up knotted tissues that constrict motion. It also invigorates the body, gives preventative care to muscles and aids in greater flexibility. Incredibly beneficial for athletes, this massage helps to improve endurance and decreases pain to make a person more competitive and vital. Benefits include relief of back pain, an option for repetitive stress injuries, improved posture, and improved self-image.

  • Myofascial Release-

  • Aims to release tension in the fascia, which is the "connective tissue" that surrounds and supports the muscles, organs, and bones to the body. Myofascial Release incorporates a variety of slow, gentle, gliding stretches which move the fascia and work to restore balance to the whole body.

  • Neuromuscular Therapy-

  • Uses deep sustained finger pressure to release chronically tender, tight bands of muscle.

  • Polarity Therapy-

  • Incorporated into each session and works with the electromagnetic meridians of the body to induce deep relaxation working specifically with the neck and spine.

    Other Specific Treatments Available

  • Pregnancy Massage-

  • A variety of approaches used for a healthy influence on the unique physical, biochemical and energetic needs of a pregnant woman. A special pregnancy massage table is used for the woman to be able to lie on her stomach.

  • Shiatsu-

  • An ancient Japanese approach to wellness based on the belief that there are energetic meridians throughout the body. A subtle application of finger pressure and stretching to specific meridians or points of the body are used to increase the energy flow, which improves balance, harmony, and has an extremely calming effect. Session is administered with the receiver wearing comfortable, loose fitting clothes.
